Nestled against the lower slopes of Black Montain, Minervois in the Languedoc, South of France, the Plo du Roy vineyard has the same charm as the Tuscan countryside. It resembles a huge amphitheater facing directly south. And indeed, in the first moment you feel the southern sun, the heat, the concentrated, even dried black berries typical of Minervois wines in this Languedoc sub-region in Southern France. However, this full-bodied velvety red wine is well balanced by mineral notes and aromas of Mediterranean herbs, and is perfectly complemented by 6 months aging in oak barrels in a natural cave. The Giant Chasm of Cabrespine is considered one of the 10 most beautiful caves in Europe, its depth is 250 meters.

Serve at 16°C with rich dishes: game pâtés, meat dishes or game cooked in red wine sauce, and strongly flavored cheeses.
